The Law on the Protection of the right to be tried within a reasonable time adopted
The Law on the Protection of the right to be tried within a reasonable time has been adopted and published in “The RS Official Gazette” nos. 40/2014 and shall enter into force on January 1st 2016. The new Law allows the parties in the court proceedings, including execution proceedings, extra-judicial proceedings and criminal proceedings, to achieve the right to be tried within a reasonable time and provides the procedural actions for the court to speed up the process as well the party’s fair right to the satisfy their claim in the case if such right to be tried within a reasonable time was violated.
