Amendments to the Law of Contract and Torts
The National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia adopted on March 3, 2020, Law on Amendments to the Law on Law of Contract and Torts, which was published in the Official Gazette of RS No. 18/2020. The provisions of the amended law are in force as of March 11, 2020. The Law of Contract and Torts is one of the longest existing in the legal system, and the latest changes, although not significant in scope, are important for maintaining legal certainty. The amendments are aimed at harmonization with other laws, which regulate notarial activity and prescribe stricter forms for conclusion of real estate contracts.
