Amendments to the Law on planning and construction
The National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia adopted on February 4, 2020 Law on Amendments to the Law on planning and construction, which was published in the Official Gazette of RS N0 9/2020. The provisions of the amended law are in force as of February 12, 2020. The adoption of the Law on Amendments to the Law on Planning and Construction was necessary primarily to harmonize with EU regulations, the Law on Regulated Professions and Recognition of Professional Qualifications and the Law on Professions of Special interest in the Republic of Serbia and the conditions for their performance. The changes also refer to the expedition of conversion procedure (conversion of the usage right to the right of ownership on construction land without compensation).
