Amendments to the law on foreign exchange operations adopted
The National Assembly of Republic of Serbia adopted the Amendments to the Law on Foreign Exchange Operations in April 2018, and it was published in the Official Gazette of the RS No. 30/2018. The amendments will be applied from April 28, 2018, except for the provisions concerning the transfer of competencies of the Tax Administration to the National Bank of Serbia and redefining the conditions for performing foreign exchange transactions, which will apply from January 1, 2019. The most significant amendments include introduction of new conditions for foreign exchange payments in the country and simpler conditions for granting financial loans to non-residents.
