The Law on Whistleblowers adopted

The newly adopted Law on Whistleblowers shall be applied as of June 5, 2015 and prescribes more rights on the part of the employees and also provides greater protection for anyone who wishes to raise a concern of a suspected wrongdoing or malpractice in their working environment. Employers are now obliged to inform all employees and other persons engaged by the employer, in writing, of their rights under the law.

Employers are also required to appoint a whistleblowing officer and provide anonymity for the individual raising a concern over a suspected wrongdoing or malpractice occurring or likely to occur in a company.

Moreover, employers with more than 10 employees must adopt an internal whistleblowing procedure bylaw by December 5, 2015.
